People often ask, how did you get into this business? Like most Loan Consultants, I didn't grow up dreaming about the mortgage industry, I fell into it. What keeps me passionate is that I know I make a difference to you and others in our community. We all know that besides food and water, having shelter is one of the necessities in life. Since becoming a Loan Consultant, I've seen what a big impact home ownership has on peoples lives. I have personally seen how home ownership shifts a person into taking pride in their community. Home ownership contributes to the foundation of a strong family, community, and is an investment for your future. Simple steps to successful financing

• Get pre-approved.

 This is ALWAYS the first step. How much house can you afford? Find out before you shop. Not just pre-qualified. I can help you with a pre-approval letter that provides excellent ammunition when submitting an offer.

• Consider what type of loan is best for you.

• Check your Credit Report.

A lender will run a credit report on you (it only takes a few minutes), but you'll be ahead of the game if you acquire a copy first. You'll know exactly what's on it and be able to correct any inaccuracies.

• Get the proper documents ready

You'll need to provide documents such as paycheck stubs, bank account statements and tax returns. Check with your lender or broker for more information.

• Clear up any financial problems.

Do you have credit problems or owe money to the IRS? Buying a new home may still be a possiblity. Contact a financial advisor or tax resolution service to find solutions.
